We are hiring for PART-TIME dog waste removal technicians!
Responsibilities include the following:
Driving from house to house using your own vehicle: must be reliable & insured with a clean driving record.
Using your personal smartphone to use our client portal app to communicate with clients and complete jobs.
Using Google Maps to navigate to each house.
Safely entering yards through latched or locked gates, always securing the gate doors when entering each yard to ensure dogs do not get out.
Thoroughly cleaning each yard of dog waste using the tools and equipment provided to you.
Spraying yards with our sanitizing & deodorizing system.
Securely latching gate door when exiting each yard and triple checking the gate is securely latched to ensure dogs do not get out.
Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing scooping rake and bucket at your vehicle after each yard using the supplies that will be provided to you.
Paid Training: Average training period is one to two weeks.
Compensation:
Pay for this position is $21 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. This is a W2 position.
Commission for any customers that you refer to sign up for recurring weekly services.
Must Haves:
MUST LOVE DOGS! (obviously)
Great personal skills and customer service.
Reliable, insured vehicle with a valid CA driver’s license.
Smartphone with the knowledge to navigate our client portal app and Google Maps.
Ability to walk at a moderate pace for up to 30 minutes at a time.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
Always looking professional, wear provided shirts with our logo/branding when servicing our customer’s yards.
For the safety of our customers, before hiring, you must be able to pass a background check and driving record check.
Please Note:
This is a physically demanding position that sometimes requires lots of walking on all types of terrain, gripping tools, bending, squatting, and repetitive motions like looking down, carrying bucket in one hand and scooping waste using rake in other hand, as well as carrying bags of waste which can get heavy, repeatedly throughout the day.
